What is a “unframed print” and “framed print”?
A TYPOGRFX print is an image that is printed on a high, quality photographic paper, similar to an 8x10 photograph.
It has a lustre finish and is perfect for framing. An unframed print is the print only, which I recommend that you put in a frame to protect it. Prints are designed in standard sizes and Black or espresso frames are also available, but only for local pick-up orders.
What is a “metal print”?
A metal print is a TYPOGRFX that is infused directly into a specially coated sheet of aluminum. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the design will take on an almost magical luminescence. TYPOGRFX metal prints are available in 4 different surfaces: High Gloss, Satin, and Sheer with a Glossy or Matte finish. They come ready to hang with a 1/2 inch block on the back so that they appear to float on your wall, and also feature rounded corners for safety.
How long does it take to get a TYPOGRFX done?
Typically, you will receive a proof with your TYPOGRFX design in 1-2 business days after placing the order. Upon your approval, the design will be sent to production. Typically, a print will take 1-2 weeks, while a canvas can take up to 3 weeks to get back. Shipping time is additional.
How much does it cost to ship a TYPOGRFX?
Obviously, shipping costs depend on a few factors, like size, format and destination. Generally speaking though, since a canvas is lightweight and fairly easy to package, it typically runs about $10-15 to ship. Because a framed print is heavier and requires significant packaging to protect the glass, shipping on those runs around $18-25. Unframed prints can be safely shipped in tubes and cost around $7-10 to ship. While shipping framed prints is possible, I always recommend canvases or unframed prints for orders that will need to be shipped. Also, I ALWAYS purchase insurance on all shipped orders. Lesson learned!
Oh no! I need a TYPOGRFX gift in 2 weeks! What are my options?
Rush orders are available for an additional charge. I do my best to work with people to get their orders to them as soon as possible. Contact me for a rush order estimate. Another great solution would be to purchase a gift certificate, which I can email to you in as little as an hour (depending on if I’m in the office at the time).. Then the recipient can choose their own words, colors and everyone is happy!
I want to give a TYPOGRFX as a gift, but I can’t come up with the word list. What can I do?
TYPOGRFX is the perfect gift for any occasion. However, you might not be able to come up with all of the words that would be meaningful to the recipient. In this case, you can purchase a gift certificate to give and let the recipient come up with the words that are important to them. Problem solved!
